The N.E. Iowa Chapter of the American Legion Riders was formed in Dec. 2004 with 6 members in Charles City, IA at The American Legion Post 174, we have grown to 103 members from all over the area, and we have never had a month with out a new member joining us.  We do fund raisers for Veterans Projects; ride in Parades to support & promote the American Legion, have weekly supper rides, sponsor bike shows & poker runs, sponsor The ALR All State Rally & The Annual 9/11 Memorial Ride, as well as working with the Legion and other ALR Chapters on other events & fund raisers. Our membership is open to any member of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary or Son’s of American Legion, at any Post who ride, must own at least a street legal motorcycle of 350cc or larger, as we are a family oriented organization the membership includes a members spouse, our dues are $10.00 per year. We meet at the American Legion Post 174, 1108 5th Street, Charles City, IA 50616 on the 2nd Saturday of each month @ 2:00 pm in the winter (Nov/March) and 5:00 pm in the summer (April/Oct.) with a supper ride after each meeting.
